For Music Teachers

For Music Teachers

The lessons you teach your students each week are invaluable - both music skills and life skills that can be applied to any future pursuit.

Our orchestras and ensembles are a great way to supplement everything you teach your students. We hope you will consider talking to them about joining a group program at Powers, so we can work together to help young musicians build confidence, character, musicianship, and inspire a lifetime love of the music that surrounds us every day.

  • Chamber ensembles (age 9+)
  • Piano duos (age 9+)
  • Jazz ensembles (open to all instruments, age 9+)
  • Rock band (age 9+)
