Ukulele Classes

Ukulele Classes

In this class, through discussion, handouts, and online resources, we will learn the names of the pitches in the first position, basic chords, and begin to develop repertoire together. Students will learn both chords and melody to a set of standard repertoire that we can perform together. As we progress, we will develop group arrangements of the material for performance.

This class is ideal for beginner to intermediate level players of all ages who prefer to learn in a group setting, or who need a learning setting that is less demanding than private lessons. Students must have their own ukulele, no previous music reading experience is required.
