Emma is a dynamic and versatile music educator, having taught many facets of public school music education over the last 10+ years. Currently, she is the High School Orchestra Director, as well as a beginning band and strings teacher in Medford Public Schools. Emma’s passion as an educator is instilling a love for music in each of her students, while also allowing them the space and creativity to explore and grow on their instruments. Her goal is to help her students develop into confident and independent musicians, while also honing the skills that are necessary to be an ensemble player. Emma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Manhattanville College and a Master’s degree in Music Education from Boston University.
When Emma is not teaching music she can be found exploring running trails around the greater Boston area, attending Red Sox games with her husband as season ticket holders, and traveling around the country to spend time with friends and family.
