Wenran Meng, a violist from Beijing, China. she was awarded the second prize of Grand Prize international Competition in Vienna and the Golden classical music international competition in New York. As a soloist, she performed in different concert hall, such as Musikverein Wien and Carnegie Hall. She attend Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, She had won Outstanding Performance Award at China Viola Music Festival, Outstanding Performance Award at The 1st Nan Chang String Music Festival in China. 2011, she got full scholarship under Doris Lederer at Shenandoah Conservatory. She won 2nd prize of Mu Phi EpsilonInternational Competition. As viola principle she went Spain tour with Shenandoah Conservatory, they went Madrid, Zaragoza. After she graduate, she got her masters in Boston University, under Steven Ansell, who is the principal of Boston Symphony Orchestra. After she got her masters degree, she teaches at Shrewsbury Public School and plays with New Hampshire Symphony and Cape Cod Symphony.
