There’s no denying that 2020 was a struggle. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make 2021 the best year possible… in music, at least!
That’s why we’re starting the #BestYearYet Challenge – to challenge our students, teachers, and community to take charge of their music and dig deep to find the creativity, passion, and inspiration that’s ready to be seen and heard.
Let’s do this together, as a music family. Let’s make 2021 a year of hope, joy, and the best music we can imagine.
Will you commit to learning, growing, and creating, and having your best musical year yet?
Join the Best Year Yet Challenge!
We invite anyone to participate in this fun challenge! Take the pledge on your own in private, or share your goals publicly on social media to hold yourself accountable and find support from friends, family, and others at Powers.
How does it work?
- Commit to joining the challenge by filling out the short, easy form below.
- Share your goals (if you’re comfortable) by copying and pasting the following text with a photo of you playing your instrument on your favorite social media channels:
“”I’ve accepted Powers Music School’s challenge to have my #bestyearyet in music! This spring, my musical goals are ____________. Join the challenge at powersmusic.org!” - We’ll check in with you in April to see how you’re doing and send some tips and encouragement! If you’re comfortable with it, we’d love you to share your progress any time during the semester.
- We’ll do one final check-in with you in late May or June to see all the things you’ve accomplished, and maybe feature a few!
