Powers is excited to be hosting Labyrinth New England for their 1st Annual Labyrinth New England Festival (LNEF)! The festival is scheduled for March 1-2, 2025.
We are so excited to get this project started and look forward to having you with us in early March. The idea behind the Labyrinth network of organizations, which Ross Daly began in Crete with Labyrinth Musical Workshop, is to build a community of listeners and performers around the modal music traditions of the world.
The festival will be inclusive of as many different modal music traditions as we can, given the time and space we have. One of the unique strengths of New England is we already have some fantastic performers, composers, academics, educators, and members of our ethnically diverse population who have dedicated much of their lives to this music. We hope the festival will be a way for us to see who we already have in our local community that can contribute to future Labyrinth New England events.
