Carrie Sullivan, MT-BC is a 2025 graduate of the University of Rhode Island with degrees in Music Therapy and Spanish. In her clinical experiences, she has worked with individuals from Early Intervention through geriatric care. Most recently, Carrie completed her clinical internship at South Shore Educational Collaborative, where she worked with students aged 5-22 with multiple physical and intellectual disabilities. Carrie is also passionate about Music Therapy advocacy and served as Chair of Advocacy on the New England Music Therapy Association of Students Board in 2024. Currently, Carrie provides in-home music therapy services across Massachusetts’ South Shore.
Carrie practices from a neurodiversity-affirming framework and promotes disability justice. She considers music a powerful tool that is accessible to everyone for connection, communication, and creativity. In her music therapy sessions, she aims to help each individual discover their potential by practicing evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered therapy.
