Evan Louden
President
Evan grew up in New Hartford, CT then moved to the Pacific Northwest for college. He attended Lewis & Clark College located in Portland, OR graduating in 1997 with a degree in percussion performance. While living in Portland, Evan served as first percussionist for the Vancouver (WA) Symphony under the baton of Maestro Salvator Brotons and played drum set for the jam band, Rosewater, whose gigs included SXSW, High Sierra Music Festival, and Musicfest NW. Evan moved to Belmont in 2008 with his wife Camillia, shortly before their daughter Sylvia was born. Evan served as registrar for Powers Music School from 2009 to 2015 after which he resigned to attend a coding boot camp – he is currently a Senior Software Engineer for Luggage Forward. Evan is a current board member and percussionist with Bay Colony Brass, and recently started a funk/soul-inspired band named Carboy. Outside of work and music, Evan enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
