The Music Class®, Piano Powers, Kids Crescendo
Jennifer Choe teaches The Music Class® at Powers Music School and is Chair of the Early Childhood Department. She holds her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Biology from Tufts University and received her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Indiana University. Jennifer joined the Powers faculty in 2004, teaching both private piano lessons and group lessons for the Keys for Kids® program for over ten years. She has studied piano with John-Louis Haguenauer, Jonathan Bass, and Sally Pinkas, and piano pedagogy with Karen Taylor at Indiana University. She has performed in the area extensively as an accompanist and in chamber ensembles. Jennifer is a trained Keys for Kids® and The Music Class® instructor. In addition to Powers, Jennifer has taught at Winchester Community Music School, the Keys for Kids studio in Lexington, Apple Tree Arts, and Indiana University’s Young Pianists Program.
