Xue (Shirley) Liu is a pianist and music educator who specializes in teaching students with learning differences. Ms. Liu actively performs as a pianist. She has performed various concerts at Wuhan Conservatory, two solo piano recitals, and other concerts at Boston Conservatory at Berklee under the tutelage of pianists Janice Weber and Alex Poliykov. As a music educator, Ms. Liu wants to help her students find joy in music. Through her main teaching principle of individualized teaching, Ms. Liu hopes her students to become the best forms of themselves. Ms. Liu also helps her students who take piano more seriously to prepare for piano competitions and ABRSM piano exams.  Ms. Liu currently serves as a piano instructor at the Powers Music School, the Berklee Institute for Accessible Arts Education, and the Westwood Prodigy program.

Ms. Liu received her B.M. in Piano Performance from the Wuhan Conservatory and holds an M.M. in Piano Performance and an M.M. in Music Education, both from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
