If you’ve ever wanted the chance for your child to try different types of music in a low-pressure, low-commitment way, then Break Week at Powers is for you!
February Break Week at Powers includes 4 days of fun and educational activities to see what kind of music sparks your child’s interest. Designed as a “musical sampler,” this week will allow them to explore music and movement, try instruments like piano, violin, and drums, and create music together in a social setting with new friends.
Those with some experience in piano, violin, or an early childhood class will have fun, too, as they’ll be able to try some new ways to play!
What if my child has no music experience?
When your kids are young, it’s hard to know which activities they’ll enjoy most. Will it be piano or soccer or gymnastics or coding? We hear from parents all the time who say, “I wish I could give it a try and see if they like it first.”
Our Break Week Program is designed for children with little to no experience to explore music in a fun environment. By the end of the week, you’ll have a good sense of whether a music class or program would bring a smile to their faces!
