The “Never Too…” choir is an adult (17+) choir designed to be inclusive and welcoming to people of all ages, abilities, and neurotypes. Here, our differences are accepted and celebrated, so you are never too weird, loud, different, or too “anything” to be welcomed!
We’re here to create a supportive, neurodiverse and disabled-friendly community of like-minded and music-loving adults. We promote and encourage connections, self-acceptance, and self-esteem.
This choir will have (flexible) 60-minute weekly rehearsals where members will select and learn 5-7 songs throughout the semester, culminating in a final concert performance! Participants can join us in person at Powers Music School, or virtually!
Rehearsals are led by Music Therapist Chey Eagle who is also trained on adapting and modifying music to support the needs of a variety of students. No audition is required to join, but an intake form/meeting with the music therapist is required following registration to ensure an accessible and safe environment.

In-person rehearsals will take place at Powers Music School in Belmont, which currently requires students to go up a short flight of stairs to the main floor of the school. Access to rehearsals is also offered virtually (via Zoom) for students that are unable to attend in-person or have physical limitations. Please reach out to Chey at ceagle@powersmusic.org if there are any other accessibility concerns.
Powers is committed to improving access to our building for those with limited mobility. The school is in the early stages of this large and important project but there is no formal timeline set for when it will be started/completed as of yet.
